Limited Edition Apple computer sneakers available for purchase at an unbeatable price of $50,000.

Sotheby's, the auction house, is currently offering a rare pair of Apple sneakers for sale at a price of $50,000.

These shoes were exclusively made for employees during the 1990s and were given away as a special gift at a conference.

This is the first time that a pair of these sneakers has been made available to the public. The sneakers have a predominantly white leather upper and are distinguished by the old rainbow Apple logo on both the tongue and next to the laces.

Sotheby's expects these sneakers to be highly sought after due to their unique design. The rarity of these sneakers adds to their value in the resale market, making them one of the most obscure items in existence.

Although they are new and still in their original packaging, there are some imperfections such as yellowing around the midsoles. The sneakers feature an air cushioning window in the heel and are sized US 10.5, European 41, or UK 8.5.

Additionally, an alternative pair of red laces is included in the box. Over time, Apple memorabilia has become increasingly valuable, with retro gadgets fetching high prices among collectors.

However, not all Apple products have been successful in this regard; examples include overpriced items like the Pippin video game console, the failed social network Ping, and the flop Newton MessagePad.

On a more positive note, recent successful auctions have included a first edition unopened 4GB iPhone that sold for over $190,000 in the US.

While Apple is primarily known for its technological innovations and gadgets, it has occasionally offered clothing and accessories for sale as well.

One notable example is an Apple clothing line featuring the rainbow logo and Macintosh computer imagery; this collection included t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with the intention of promoting brand loyalty and fostering a sense of community among Apple enthusiasts.
